The Archivist brand collaborates with a diverse community of artists and illustrators, celebrating design in all its forms and proudly supporting creators as well as the creative process itself. For this matchbox, they collaborated with Tabby Booth, who quickly became known for her signature silhouettes. Her work walks a captivating line between illustration and traditional folk art. A passion for interior design shines through in each of her pieces, which are interwoven with themes of animals, folklore, and the sea. Tabby studied illustration at Central Saint Martins and later, alongside her artist husband James Heslip, co-founded the Cygnets art school and Sailors Jail Gallery. They live in Cornwall in a pink house atop a hill by the sea with their children, Rudy and Ziggy.
